A new study showing children are at an increased risk of health problems and developmental delays when living with multiple hardships, such as inadequate or inconsistent access to nutritious food, utilities and stable housing was released by Children’s HealthWatch, a leading pediatric research institution. The report includes a number of recommendations on ways to reduce these hardships on low-income children, including improvements to the child nutrition programs.
