Oklahoma is one week away from an historic vote — electing the FIRST FEMALE GOVERNOR. The Oklahoma Women’s Coalition asked both of the Gubernatorial candidates to answer the following question:
Oklahoma has been ranked the 3rd worst state for women. Our women rank:
#1 – incarceration,
#1 – cardiovascular disease and obesity,
#4 – divorce rate,
#6 – teenage pregnancy,
#9 – low wages,
#15 – women murdered by their male partner.
What specific steps will you take as Governor to improve the lives of Oklahoma women and girls?
