The American Rescue Plan (ARP) provides $5 billion through the HOME-ARP program to Participating Jurisdictions (PJs). In collaboration with other community stakeholders, HOME PJs can use the funding to make targeted, strategic investments in housing and other assistance for people experiencing or at imminent risk of homelessness, and other vulnerable populations.HUD’s Office of Affordable Housing Programs (OAHP) is hosting a webinar series to assist communities in planning for their allocation of HOME-ARP funding in advance of HUD publishing an implementing notice for the program.Registration for the first webinar in the series is now open. To support planning for HOME-ARP, this webinar will introduce HOME PJs and partners to the role of Continuums of Care (CoCs) in planning and coordinating the homeless systems in communities. Register today!

Training Objectives In the first webinar, participants will learn how: HOME PJs and CoCs can effectively plan together in preparation for HOME-ARP fundingTo strategically leverage HOME-ARP funding with other investments to develop projects best suited to community needsOther communities have utilized projects eligible under HOME-ARP funding to respond to homelessness.

Who Should Attend? This webinar is designed for HOME PJs and other local jurisdictions preparing to administer an allocation of HOME-ARP, CoC partners, homeless service providers, local housing providers, and public housing agencies.
