Okie friends here’s your chance to give feedback on aging in Oklahoma! Take a minute and participate in the survey. It’s open until July 7th at 5:00 PM CST. You can find the link to the survey here, on Oklahoma Human Service’s website, and on their social media channels. They want to hear from as many people as possible, so forward the survey link to colleagues, family, and friends!

By 2030, the population of older Oklahomans is projected to increase by 21.3%, and for the first time in the known history of our state, seniors are expected to outnumber children. Oklahoma has approximately 875,877 adults aged 60 and older and approximately 140,000 adults aged 80 or older.

What is a Multisector Plan on Aging?

A Multisector Plan on Aging is an approach that engages public, private, and other organizations to work together to improve the lives of older Oklahomans – specifically those 65 and older. The Multisector Plan on Aging will enable and empower us to prepare our communities for the future.

The goal is to give every senior the confidence to live on their terms and provide them with the resources needed to lead a healthy lifestyle.
