2024 will be the first year of a new Five-Year Consolidated Plan for Oklahoma. Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency is holding an input session on July 18th to discuss potential changes to HOME, NHTF, and HOPWA for the 2024 Program Year. All ideas are considered, and all comments are welcome. Please submit comments and suggestions regarding the 2024 Annual Plan or the state’s Five-Year Plan to Danette Carr at OHFA; [email protected].

As of this date, OHFA has not developed proposed Action Plans for using the State’s 2024 HOME Investment Partnerships Program, National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF) or Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) funds allocations. No changes for HOME or HOPWA are proposed. For NHTF, OHFA proposes that the award will no longer be a forgivable loan. The award will be a deferred loan. The first payment due will be in year 16 from cash flow.

OHFA is open to comments and suggestions about these programs at the public input session on July 18that the Holiday Inn and Suites or via Zoom.
