The Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) is proposing certain changes to the Chapter 60: Oklahoma Housing Trust Fund Program Rules for the year 2014.  Drafts of the proposed rule changes will be accessible on the OHFA website at www.ohfa.org on February 18, 2014.  Adoption of the proposed Rules will be by OHFA’s Board of Trustees at the March 26, 2014 OHFA Board meeting, also at OHFA’s offices.

Just as an explanation OHFA intends the Rules to be the broad framework of the Program.  Details on implementation and specific activity requirements will be detailed in the Application Packet.  Also, new material is represented by underlines and deletions are represented by strike-throughs. Some areas they would like partners to especially consider are

            -definition of Target Populations
            -Funding Activities
-Award of funds- please note the percentages and the 490,000 population limit are statutory and cannot be changed, but these figures may change some plans for the Program
-income targeting-verification procedures to be outlined in Application Packet, but often are different procedures than intake for services
The public will be able to comment on the proposed rule changes at the following formal hearing on the proposed Rules on the following date and times:
Thursday March 20, 2014
10:00 a.m.
Will Rogers Conference Room
Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency
