New Housing Counseling Agency Work Plan Training and Toolkit Now Available:
A new self-paced online training and toolkit are now available to assist housing counseling agencies (HCAs) with creating, reviewing, and modifying their agency work plan. These resources provide helpful information for Intermediary Organizations, State Housing Finance Agencies, Multi-State Organizations, affiliates, subgrantees, and local HCAs.
The Housing Counseling Program Agency Work Plans Online Training is a two-part training that includes case studies and best practices.
· Part 1 – Purpose and Components: For new and existing HCAs who want to create, review, and update their Agency Work Plans
· Part 2 – Modifications: For new and existing HCAs who want to learn about modifying action plans and review case studies and best practices
The Developing an Agency Work Plan for HUD Approval Toolkit provides useful information, tools, and strategies for prospective and currently participating HCAs with guidance on developing or modifying their agency work plans. The toolkit includes a sample work plan.
Additional online training modules, as well as live and recorded webinars offered by the Office of Housing Counseling (OHC) and its training partners, are available in the Housing Counseling Weekly Training Digest.
