In case you missed it, this webinar provided an overview of a number of FEMA programs and resources that governments and nonprofits can access to support their work during declared disasters. This includes the
- Emergency Food and Shelter program — which supplements and expands ongoing work of local social service organizations to provide shelter, food, and supportive services to people with non-disaster related emergencies;
- Temporary Housing Assistance to uninsured/underinsured homeowners and renters who are displaced from the primary residence because of the disaster; and the
- Public Assistance program that assists communities with responding to and recovering from major disasters or emergencies declared by the president.
