Are you, your families, friends, neighbors and employees struggling to provide care for senior family members? Are you concerned about your own well-being or about the health and well-being of loved ones as they age, now or in the future?
A public forum is planned on Friday, July 12 at 10:00 a.m. at the Oklahoma HealthCare Authority to hear from the public, from service providers and any and all who are interested. This public forum is on open invitation to share your thoughts, ideas, questions and concerns regarding aging as we seek to develop a meaningful long-term plan for aging services in Oklahoma. Your input will be vital in drawing a road map to improve health outcomes, quality of life and life expectancy for senior Oklahomans.
This forum is an integral component of the Oklahoma Long Term Care Services and Supports Advisory Committee, resulting from legislation (HB 3289), legislation initiated by LeadingAge OK, passed by the Oklahoma Legislature and signed by the Governor in 2018. The Advisory Committee has been tasked with developing a long-range plan for long-term care services in the state of Oklahoma, to evaluate the financial impact of these services, and to consider stable sustainable funding to support the projected growth of these services in the future.
Be a part of the solution for the state of Oklahoma.
