The Oklahoma Department of Commerce has received approval from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for funding of the FY 2010 State of Oklahoma Consolidated Plan. This means that Commerce and the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) can now award contracts and funding that have been awaiting official approval from HUD. Included in the plan are the programs for Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) and Emergency Shelter Grants (ESG) – managed by Commerce – and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) – managed by OHFA. The plan year is April 1, 2010, through March 31, 2011. Download the Consolidated Plan at www.OKcommerce.gov/funding.
