In 2015, Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency staff began identifying newly awarded tax credit developments that pledge 10% of their units to targeted populations (people with disabilities, veterans, homeless, and youth aging out of foster care).
According to the funding list, a total of 21 developments (891 units) received an award of federal and/or state tax credits to either rehabilitate or build new rent and income restricted housing. Ninety-three (93) units are pledged to be available for people with disabilities when they come on-line in late 2017 or early 2018. Some units are restricted to seniors 62 and older.
