Refund Rush, D2D Fund’s fifth casual financial education game, is now live on the Financial Entertainment game portal. In Refund Rush, players help clients decide how best to split their refunds between paying off debt, saving for the future, and saving for retirement. The game was developed by FableVision and was supported by funding from the Financial Literacy Center.
Refund Rush is a fun, fast-paced way to think about how best to save, split, and spend a tax refund and was developed to engage both tax filers and tax preparers. It has four main learning objectives:
- You can split your tax refund into multiple accounts.
- Paying outstanding debt is good at tax time.
- Everyone can save in savings bonds.
- Saving for retirement can earn you a saver’s credit.
