Two weeks are left to submit your comments on important affordable housing programs and impediments to fair housing choice for Oklahomans!

2019 marks the start of Oklahoma’s next five-year strategic Consolidated Planning cycle for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds. Programs include Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program, Housing Trust Fund (HTF)Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Program and Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) Program.

The Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency is accepting public comments. Proposed changes to the State’s 2019 HOME, NHTF, and HOPWA Programs can be downloaded, Click here.  Comments, questions, and additional information are available by contacting Danette Carr, OHFA by email [email protected].

As part of the HUD requirement, the public is invited to review and comment on the draft Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice. Access the draft online at the Department of Commerce website or click the following title: Draft Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice OKLA 5YR 2019 to 2023
